You and I, in this orchestrated divide
March away from each other, every stride

This conflict between me and you
Both deeming our truth to be true

Passionately with scientific facts we strike
Repeating what we heard, parrots alike

I am no expert, neither are you
Can’t we reach a breakthrough

Let us see beyond this frame
Understanding its purported aim

Divide and conquer is their play
Not very original I dare say

We know very well from the past
How to end this alienating cast

Mitigating the other’s fear
We again come near

Navigating safely together
Through future’s stormy weather
